District 2 Candidate Shannon Russell
Candidate, District 2
Bio: As a veteran teacher of eighteen years, Shannon is familiar with the needs and concerns of our students, their teachers, our parents, schools, and communities. Her focus is on protecting student learning time and teacher instructional time in the classroom, ensuring that all schools around the district have equal access to resources regardless of their neighborhood or letter grade, and building strong relationships and partnerships with our community leaders. Running for school board is the best way to ensure that these needs are met and your voices are heard.
